The California Alliance for Women is committed to:
Creating an ever-growing and sustaining community of women with a deep connection to Spirit that supports personal and planetary healing.
Creating models of egalitarian decision-making processes, where women experience healthy ways of working together for common goals.
Making participation in all CAW-sponsored activities, events and meetings welcoming and accessible to diverse groups of women.
Removing financial barriers for women to fully participate in all activities and events of CAW.
Our purpose for each retreat is to create a safe and welcoming space for
women -- of different ages, of different colors and cultures, of different
sexual orientations and lifestyles, of different abilities, and of
different income levels -- to gather in circle together on the earth and
share our stories, dreams, challenges, visions and strengths with each
other. Each year's retreat has a different theme or focus while keeping
traditional structures and rituals that support the creation of community,
the renewal of Spirit, and the celebration of our deepest selves. We
especially invite first-time participants to join us for a profound and deeply
transformative experience.
California Alliance for Women, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was birthed from the model created and developed by Women's Alliance. We honor our lineage.
